Hooray Chelsea!

Last night, the only way IE could keep us kids awake was to hold a pub crawl. We ended up befriending a local Bobby who (huge shocker) was mates with every pub owner in the borough. So we spent the night walking around London, getting free food and drink at great local pubs while celebrating the FA cup win with the Chelsea fans. What an amazing night.
Today was an early morning, though. We got on a bus with a hilarious if not cynical tour guide who loved telling stories about Victoria and Albert. The tour was unlike I’d ever been on. Instead of showing us the city, they told us how to live in the city: where the cheap shops were, where the best places to stand were for shows and such, where to hold on to your handbag, etc. Dead useful.
We spent the rest of the day in Harrods’ food sections. I was expecting the Smoked Salmon Cones and the Champaign Truffles. What I wasn’t expecting was the Krispy Kreme donut store, the gelato bar, and the pizzeria where the chef tossing the dough is also singing opera. Ah, luxury.

You're just a few minutes from Chelsea's home. It is a neat place. What a great tour. Now you have to remember it so that you can take us!! Lots of secrets in London.
